At Give-HOPE, our mission is to offer HOPE not in things but in giving to people. Currently, there are 15 projects in Malawi east Africa. In partnership with Edunite@2serve, our lives are being changed as we give to others.

There are many ways to get HOPE. A smile, a thought, a link, a cup of water, or a hand when it is needed. While so much of what can give HOPE is found in education, there is something more! There is the answers of why I am here and where am I going.

Volunteers are the backbone of our organization. The coordination of Moses Chikopa is vital to the ongoing success of the individuals that choose to work together to give HOPE in Malawi. There are many others that give so much to assist children, students, and families. Give 10 minute to pray!

From the time she was a child, Eve Harper Gilkeson wanted to travel to countries all over the world to help people. Every day she would pray, "Lord, help me find someone to help." As an ESL/Spanish teacher she had the opportunity to travel the world to countries on every contintent. In 2019, Eve and Jerrell, her husband, had an opportunity to visit Malawi in East Africa.

In 2021, the Covid pandemic hit. During this time Eve was giving help to her parents.One night she had severe stomach pain. When going to the hospital it was learned that she had a heart attack! While preparing for surgery, she fainted in the toilet and had a bad concussion, a chipped vertebra and a broken kneecap.Waking up the she prayed, "Lord help me help someone today." And then she laughed!

She couldn't walk. She couldn't even go to the toilet! Then God impressed her mind, "You can give HOPE to someone today." For days she gave HOPE to each caregiver that walked in the door. From that event she was able to learn how to give HOPE and get HOPE. It is possible to give HOPE when you have nothing. Since then Eve, her friends, and church, have given 4 containers ond a bus to help children

There are many way to give HOPE. Your ideas of how you can continue to give HOPE and improve many peoples lives would be welcome. Some are giving things, some are paying to drill water wells, and some are giving education. Remember, when you give HOPE you get HOPE!
